A Walk To Remember

On Tuesday, September 23 we decided to take a family walk. We went to the Castle Pistol Club, where they have a trail that goes right through the woods. This is the area where Joe sometimes hunts, so he probably wanted to go here to scope it out. We told Hunter that if he stayed quiet that we might see a deer. Yeah right!!! That boy was not quiet at all!! Hunter got to see an old slimy pond, a catapillar, and a snake (a dead one). Joe also showed him where they practice shooting their guns. Thank goodness no one was there shooting. He also picked a purple flower. I asked him if he picked it for me, he said "I picked it for myself". By the time we got back to the car he had the pedals ripped off. Hunter really enjoyed the walk, Me not so much!!!

Down on the Farm

Once again, I decided to enter Hunter in the costume contest at the fair. This year's theme was favorite movie character. And as you can see, he went as Superman. He competed against Shrek, James Dean, Tom Cruise in Risky Business. Even though he didn't win, he was #1 mommy's eyes.
He also rodes some rides. I have a picture in my phone that I wish everyone could see. It is Hunter riding the scrambler with his "girlfriend" Rylee. She has her arms around him. It was too cute!!!
Some friends of the Kobialkas entered their sheep in the fair. Hunter had the privalege to help Jaime feed them. He just loved it.
Hunter just loved the fair this year. For a few weeks later, every time we would drive by the fairgrounds he would ask me if I had the wagon in the trunk, because he wanted to go to the farm show.

We decided to give Hunter a Teddy Bear haircut. We thought it would keep him a little cooler during the summer. Mee Maw cut his hair. If you ask Hunter where did your hair go? He will say that he gave it to the birds. And if you ask him what will the birds do with it, he says build a nest. He is too smart.
